A Personal Story...
"In three words I can sum up everything I've learned about life:
It goes on."
This is a personal story...
Coming to terms terms with the death of my young husband compelled me to write a powerful tale of loss that was ultimately inspiring and life affirming.
When my husband was diagnosed with cancer, we decided to remain positive and work hard to provide a wonderful life for ourselves and our young children.
After his untimely death, I was left alone to pick up the pieces of the life he left behind.
How did I do this? By chronicling the way my family dealt with his death as well as the power of transcendence that the tragedy eventually brought us. (The Only Way Through: A Journey of Loss, Transformation and Oneness)
My memoir offers others going through profound loss with the comforting knowledge that they are not alone in spirit.
More than this, I learned the powerful importantce of journaling and share it with others.
Journaling is a valuable tool for coping with loss and helps address the important questions that surround grief. In Journaling Through Loss to Transformation: A Guided Approach to Understand Grief I provide guided exercises with step-by-step instructions to help focus the journaling toward healing the pain of any variety of loss--whether the loss of a loved one, a job, or even a mindset.
The are several sections in this journal include: My Life as It Was, Going Through the Valley, Transformation, and finally a section that goes full circle to questions for future thought and journaling. It is with new wisdom and empathy that I offer this guide to provide the tools needed to return to a place where there is, once again, hope.
